Como bien dice Ginés, el Toledo cristiano siguió siendo muy tolerante durante muchos años.
Tanto, que los judíos y mozárbes emigraban a Toledo y los territorios cristianos del norte.

No medieval Muslim or Jews would have been surprised by the advice of Queen Elionor of Catalonia-Aragon to her son Prince Martin in 1374, when she told to ignore the complaints of several Muslim Aljamas about the weight of their debts to Valencia Jew Jafuda Alatzar. After all, Jafuda alone paid more taxes to the Crown than virtually all the Muslim communities of kingdom of Valencia combined.

Me ha costado encontrar de donde procedía el texto pero lo he logrado:

Communities of violence: persecution of minorities in the Middle Ages escrito por David Nirenberg

Interesantísimo libro en el que además de la violencia ejercida por los cristianos sobre otras minorías (en Francia y en la Corona de Aragón) también se habla de la violencia entre musulmanes y judíos, de hecho el capitulo seis del libro está dedicado a ese tema:

CHAPTER SIX:
Violence between Muslims and Jews

Y ahora me encomiendo a San Google Traductor:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

l I struggled to find where it came from the text but I've done:

Communities of violence: persecution of minorities in the Middle Ages by David Nirenberg

Interesting book that besides violence by Christians on other minorities (in France and in the Crown of Aragon) also speaks of the violence between Muslims and Jews, in fact the chapter six of the book is devoted to this subject:

CHAPTER SIX:
Violence between Muslims and Jews

But what makes David Nirenberg clearer in this book is that, at least in the Spanish Levante region, persecution of minorities in the Middle Ages and all such conflicts had a distinct economic complexion.

If anyone is interested the book is published in Castilian by the Peninsula editorial with the title: Comunidades de Violencia: las persecuciones de minorías en la Edad Media.

Sorry that you struggled looking for the text and where did it came from, but it seems that you were interested in it
Jews, Muslims and Christians In and Around the Crown of Aragon
It’s in part three in the book, “LOVE BETWEEN MUSLIM AND JEW IN MEDIEVAL SPAIN: ATRIANGULAR AFFAIR.”
Have you read that book?

NO. I do not know if it is translated into Castilian. Now I'm reading the other "Communities of violence: persecution of minorities in the Middle Ages"

It’s terrible to judge the others cultures from one sample only because we don't live with all the different groups to say our opinion about their cultures. :( :( :(

Open minded? Well . . . we all have dreams. I dream of a Toledo and a Toletho where all three cultures can exchange ideas in peace and harmony.

Have a good day, Mona. Keep your spirits up and don't let anyone put you down.

???????Shalom/Salaam
. . . and for those of you who practice . . . have a gut shabbes/Shabbat!

Not a cousin, a sister.

I am not letting anyone to put me down. But I 'm just wondring that when they post information from their sources, they say it is right, but when it's from my sources, it is always wrong.

Thank you, Mona.

But I would like you to know that although I am here, I am not really back.

Mona,

You would have to ask each person who questions your sources what you are asking me. Nevertheless, you should always keep in mind the point of view (i.e. objectivity) and reliability of a particular source. . . and just like I would not rate everything written in Spanish about the Jews and Muslims of Toledo as reliable, I would not assume everything written in other languages should be accepted as "palabra de Dios" (word of G-d) either.
